Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The most noteworthy thing about it is the staff. I was working from the lobby most of the time and often they come with water or replenish the water they had already provided me. I’ve never seen such dedication to the convenience of guests before. The room was pretty neat and tidy and the place is in the heart of the city and yet quiet and has a good atmosphere. Price is a little bit sore though but I can bet it’s a good value in comparison to other hotels.

Outstanding welcome on our arrival. All staff very nice and helpful. Lovely decoration throughout the hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean with a good great view. Liked the ethos of asking the customer about their preferences for housekeeping, please keep this up. Location for us was great, both train and bus stations 5 minutes walk. There was no noise from either.

Very very basic room for the price we paid. But the hotel is walking distance to the Salzburg train station. Getting in and out of city is easy with bus station across. However, the bed was very small and the room was lacking basics like water, lotions, coffee machine. When you pay for 300, you will except these minimum basics. The hotel lobby was pretty and staff is also friendly. The breakfast was elaborate and is a must try. They had many local dishes and the spread was huge. Only way to get coffee is through the breakfast deal or you pay for your coffee.

Our stay at Cocoon was a pleasant surprise. The hotel room was as described in the website, it wasn't the most spacious one but had everything that was needed. The hotel was outside the train station and someone could also walk (approx. 15-20 minute) to the city center. The hotel is 3 minute away from the bus station so you may hop on for a bus to the city center at anytime. I can't say enough about the people in Cocoon, who stand out regarding the experience of the customer, always eager to help and with a positive attitude. Well done, it really differentiate for us the experience in a hotel. We have tried the taco night as well, options were limited but tasty and pairing with the lovely cocktails, it was a great choice. Overall a very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend the hotel.

We loved our stay! The hotel is very cozy, the staff super friendly and the location very convenient just a few minutes away from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof. Despite the great location the hotel and rooms are very quiet. There are lots of restaurants and shops around but there is a also a nice bar/restaurant in the hotel which we can recommend. The breakfast in the hotel was fantastic too. We were travelling with a toddler and found everything we needed in the hotel, including a great baby bed.

The hotel is great condition and very close to the main station. Overall the room I got was modern, clean and comfy. Huge breakfast buffet! My highlight was definitely the bar! Fair prices for the drinks, a good verity of cocktails and long drinks. Very skilled barkeepers AND they mixed me even a custom cocktail on request. Outstanding!

We had a great stay here. Nice and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and had comfy beds. We all had a good resting. The windows could be better cleaned so we could enjoy the mountains view better. Nice water pressure on the shower. Free water and fruits at the front desk was a nice touch.

I very recently stayed here for seven nights. The location is close to the train and a short walk to Old Town. The hotel itself is lovely and the food is very good. The room is quite small and has a drab cold decor. No adequate space for clothing other than a few hangers. The The shampoo and shower gel is not good at all so definitely bring your own, no conditioner either. Towels and cheap and crunchy. This is not a luxury hotel to say the least. Most of the staff is friendly but not all. Beatrice is a phenomenal asset to this hotel, she is professional and kind, always going out of her way to be helpful. Jimy is also someone to be recognized, Very hard working and always pleasant. I wouldn't stay here again but will definitely pop in to say hello to Beatrice and jimy.
